Prof. Dr. med. Marc O. Schurr, Managing Director of novineon CRO & Consulting Ltd, has substantial professional experience in the global healthcare industry. This concerns not only Research & Development, but also the market side.

He attended medical school in Tuebingen, Germany, including stays in the US and Italy, and took his doctoral degree following relevant research in the area of medical technologies.

After graduation from medical school he attended business education at the St. Galler Management Seminar. Prof. Schurr has been working in medical research and experimental surgery since the 1990s, his scientific results have led to more than 100 publications. From 1996-2002 he was Director of Steinbeis Transfer Centre Healthcare Technologies and was also in charge of the research program into advanced technology at the section for minimally invasive surgery, Eberhard-Karls University, Tuebingen, Germany. In this function he has initiated and directed a number of international R&D projects.

He is director of IHCI - Institute of Healthcare Industries at Steinbeis University Berlin and is member of the boards of several companies and associations. He entertains close contacts to leading European and American corporations and scientific institutions.

Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Rüdiger L. Proßt

Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Rüdiger L. Proßt is Senior Medical Consultant at novineon CRO & Consulting Ltd and thus involved in medical research and product development as well as in medical consulting.

He has substantial professional experience in medical technology and teaches at Steinbeis University Berlin. He is a general surgeon and lecturer for surgery at Medical School Mannheim of the University of Heidelberg.

After attending medical school in Tuebingen, Boston and Denver and graduation at the Section for MIC at the Tuebingen University and at Yale School of Medicine he received his surgical training at the University Mecical Centers Heidelberg and Mannheim and, in addition, qualified in “Medical Technology” at the University of Kaiserslautern.

Dr. rer. nat. Marion Fehlker

 

Dr. Marion Fehlker, Director of Operations of novineon CRO & Consulting Ltd, studied chemistry with biochemistry as a major subject at the University of Stuttgart. Subsequently, she did a doctorate in biology with the main focus on biochemistry/molecular biology at the Charité in Berlin. From 2005 – 2009 she worked as a post-doc in biomedical research at the Max-Delbrück-Centrum in Berlin, mainly studying the molecular biology of colorectal carcinoma. Since July 2010, Dr. Marion Fehlker is responsible for clinical evaluations at novineon CRO & Consulting Ltd. Since 2013, she is certified “Manager Regulatory Affairs Medical Devices International”.

Dr. sc. hum. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Sebastian Schostek

Dr. sc. hum. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Sebastian Schostek passed his studies on Engineering Physics/Microsystems Engineering at Munich University of Applied Science with distinction. In 2010 he received a doctor’s degree in Human Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen for his thesis “Tactile sensor technology in laparoscopic surgery”. His work in research and development has led to a number of publications, patents, lectures and awards. In 2003 he received the German Study Award of the Koerber Foundation.

Since 2003 Sebastian Schostek is in charge of technical research and development at novineon Healthcare Technology Partners GmbH. Furthermore, he is experienced in developing mathematical models for economic, clinical and health economic studies.
